TRENDS Research & Advisory is contributing to the IDEX and NAVDEX 2025 exhibitions and the International Defence Conference (IDC) as a Knowledge Partner to be held from February 16-21, 2025, at Emirates Palace and ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. ADNEC Group is organizing the events in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Defence and the Tawazun Council. Abdullah Al-Hammadi, Head of Advisory Sector at TRENDS Research & Advisory, highlighted that the center’s goal through this partnership is to strengthen the knowledge foundation of IDEX, NAVDEX, and IDC by offering comprehensive analyses of the latest trends and developments in the defense and security sectors. TRENDS will also contribute to shaping innovative strategies that promote global peace and stability.

He noted that TRENDS’ role includes providing advice on conference themes and key discussion topics to ensure their alignment with the latest defense industry developments. Al-Hammadi further explained that TRENDS’ research team will produce comprehensive reports and final recommendations highlighting key issues discussed during the events. This includes the publication of the conference’s White Paper, offering in-depth analyses of defense industry advancements. TRENDS will also support media and promotional campaigns by delivering engaging content in Arabic and English across social media platforms to drive engagement and interaction with the events.
ADNEC Group had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TRENDS Research & Advisory, appointing the think tank as the Knowledge Partner for the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) and Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX) 2025, as well as the International Defence Conference (IDC) 2025.
The TRENDS delegation participating in the World Governments Summit engaged in a knowledge-based dialogue with H.E. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, about the summit’s agenda and the role of scientific research and think tanks in governance and foreseeing events.
