Dr. Manal Shehabi

Dr. Manal Shehabi is the OIES-KFAS Research Fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies. She is also an SCR Member of St. Antony’s College, University of Oxford. An applied economist, Dr. Shehabi has expertise in economic and energy sustainability, economic analyses, and policy assessment in resource-dependent economies, focusing on the Middle East and North Africa. Her research interests include economic modeling, macro, and international economics, energy and resources, and multinational enterprises. Dr. Shehabi’s research contributed to key policy debates at national and international levels, such as the WTO, the UNFCCC, and resource-exporting states.
