Arian Aghashahi

Arian Aghashahi serves as Managing Director of the Sovereignty Foundation, a political foundation affiliated with the ESN party in the European Parliament. He is a Visiting Fellow at the Danube Institute and serves as Senior Advisor to TRENDS Research and Advisory and Republicans Overseas Germany. Prior to these roles, he spent three years as Head of Strategy at TheRepublic, a Berlin-based platform for centre-right campaigns and international network building. He worked for two members of the CDU and CSU parliamentary group in the German Bundestag. He holds law degrees from the Free University of Berlin and the University of Connecticut. During his studies, he worked as a student assistant to two professors of law and received scholarships from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the Deutschlandstiftung Integration, and the Claussen Simon Foundation.
