Antonio Angelucci

Associate Professor of Law and Religion at the Università degli Studi dell'Insubria (Como-Varese) - Italy

Antonio Angelucci, MA and Ph.D. in Philosophy of Law, is Associate Professor of Law and Religion (qualified for the functions of Full Professor) at the Università degli Studi dell’Insubria (Como-Varese), where he is affiliated with the Department of Law, Economics and Cultures (DiDEC). He is Director of the Master’s Programme for Educators of Intercultural Communities (EDC), Director of the Interuniversity Research Centre FIDR (International Forum on Democracy and Religions), and Director of the book series “Studies on the Law of the Religious Phenomenon”. He is a member of the University Quality Assurance Board, of the Scientific Council of the REDESM Research Centre, and of the Scientific Council of the FILIS Master’s Programme. He is a member of the Doctoral Faculty in Law and Human Sciences (Insubria) and of the National Interest Doctoral Programme in Peace Studies (Sapienza). He teaches Islamic, Hindu and Buddhist Law at the Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI, Lugano) and has been Visiting Professor at the Universities of Alcalá and Coimbra. He serves on the editorial boards of the journals Verità et Ius, Quaderni di diritto e politica ecclesiastica, and Coscienza e libertà. He is an external collaborator of TRENDS Research & Advisory (Abu Dhabi). He has an extensive scholarly output, with international collaborations in the MENA region.
