Domenico Battaglia is an MEP Policy Advisor. He is also an analyst for Med-Or, a Rome-based foundation focusing on the Broader Mediterranean.

Mr. Battaglia is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, Italy, with a final dissertation on International law. He also holds an MA degree in Middle Eastern Studies from the Graduate School of Economics and International Relations at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, Italy. In addition, he completed the Master in diplomacy postgraduate course at the Institute for International Political Studies in Milan, Italy.

His research interests focus on EU policies in the MENA region, with a particular interest in Israeli and Palestinian affairs.
