Dr. Harry Verhoeven

Convenor of the Oxford University China-Africa Network

Harry Verhoeven is the Founder and Convenor of the Oxford University China-Africa Network (OUCAN). He also serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Columbia University. He is an Associate Member of the Department of Politics & International Relations at the University of Oxford and was a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Politics and International Studies of the University of Cambridge. He has authored and edited numerous books including Environmental Politics in the Middle East (Hurst/Oxford University Press) and Beyond Liberal Order: States, Societies and Markets in the Global Indian Ocean (Hurst/Oxford University Press.
