Dr. Mohamed Addi is a researcher in contemporary Arab philosophy. He holds a PhD in Intellectual and Theological Studies from Abdelmalek Essaâdi University in Morocco, with a dissertation on the reform of religious thought in contemporary Arab philosophy. He also holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy and Islamic Thought from Abdelmalek Essaâdi University, where he focused his thesis on the relationship between heritage and modernity in contemporary Arab philosophy, and a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Padua, with a thesis on the issue of pluralism and citizenship in the discourse of Islamist movements. Currently, he serves as a member of the coordination team and as an assistant professor for the Master’s program in Religion, Politics, and Global Society at the University of Padua. In addition to his administrative duties, he lectures on the course Religion, Identity, and Radicalization: Sociopolitical Perspectives. He has published numerous articles on topics related to religion, politics, heritage, modernity, and the reform of religious thought.
