Fahad Essa Al-Mahri currently serves as the Head of the Trends Research and Advisory Dubai Office. Previously, he held the position of Director of the Global Barometer Department. Mr. Al-Mahri has a diverse background, working in various agencies and institutions, including the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs. Before joining Trends, he served as Deputy Director of the Opinion Polls Department at the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) from 2013 to 2021, where he also worked as an Opinion Poll Specialist. In 2012, Mr. Al-Mahri earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the United Arab Emirates University, and he obtained a Specialized Scientific Research Diploma while working at the ECSSR in 2014. He has also completed training courses on Professional Implementation of Opinion Polls and the Role of Opinion Polls in Public Policy.
