Federico Bonaglia is the Deputy Director of the OECD Development Center. He supports the Director in the management and implementation of the Center’s programs. He supervises the Center’s activities in Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean and looks after its global, rural and territorial development, migration, and natural-resource based development projects. He also manages its Governing Board, where representatives from 57 countries and the European Union provide strategic guidance and engage in policy over development policies.
Mr. Bonaglia also represents the OECD in the G-20 Development Working Group and supports the OECD Sherpa Office in coordinating its contributions to the G-20 and G-7. Mr. Bonaglia holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Social Sciences and a Masters in Economics from Bocconi University, Milano. He has led research projects and authored several reports on structural reforms, FDI, private sector development, aid for trade, and labor market policies.
