Hamad Al-Hosani joined TRENDS Research & Advisory at the beginning of 2024 as a researcher in Political Islam. His previous experience includes working as a researcher at the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, and a professor assistant from 2019 to 2021. As a university student, he chaired the Student Council and led the China and Japan Club. Al-Hosani holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Zayed University (2021). He completed the ILM leadership and management program in the UK on a UAE Presidential Court Scholarship, and attended several developmental courses in leadership, public speaking, and self-development at New York University Abu Dhabi and Zayed University. Al-Hosani is proficient in Chinese, having passed the Chinese Proficiency Test (Level 3) at the Confucius Institute for Chinese Language and Culture.
