Jumana Al Tamimi

Journalist - Jordan

A Journalist, editor and media professional with deep understanding of the Middle East politics and issues.  Holds a Master’s degree from Tufts University’s Fletcher School Of Law & Diplomacy in International Relations

Jumana has worked with international and regional media organizations, including “Voice Of America”, “AFP”, “UN Radio”, “Gulf News” newspaper.  She also wrote scores of articles which appeared in other publications, including “Washington Times”, “Jordan Times”, “Women’s Feature Service (WFS)” and “Arab News”.

She received two fellowships in the US in 2006 & 2007, where she attended in the latter an intensive course for emerging media leaders in MENA region at Kellogg Center at Northwestern University in Chicago, a top notch for media education in the world.

Jumana was raised in Abu-Dhabi. Currently, she works as a freelancer out of Dubai. She is teaching media-related topics, as an adjunct, at the American University of Dubai (AUD), after teaching similar subjects at the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) Sharjah Women Campus.
