Kareem Kamel

Adjunct Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, American University in Cairo

Specializes in theories of international relations, political systems of the Middle East, and the politics of nationalism and Islamism.

He received his BA and MA from the American University in Cairo and his PhD from Birkbeck College, University of London.

He was also a Carnegie post-doctoral fellow at the Center for Middle East and Islamic Studies at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
