He was formerly Managing Vice President and Chief of Research for Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Audit at Gartner. He has two decades of experience advising corporate executives and government ministers, including the CEO of Reuters and the Prime Minister of Malaysia, on risk and strategy. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, is a Superforecaster with Good Judgment Inc., and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
