Oluwabunmi Ajilore is a strategic foresight and international development expert with over 12 years of experience working across regions – Africa, Europe, Latin America, Caribbean, and South Pacific Islands. He has worked primarily in foresight advisory, international agricultural development, and program management roles. During those times, he worked with or consulted for organizations such as the UNFAO, CTA ACP-EU, CIAT, CCAFS, UNDP, Bond UK, and OECD. Ajilore is a Fall 2018 AILA International Fellow of the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) Washington DC and a Winner of the 2018 Joseph Jaworski Next Generation Foresight Practitioners Award. He is a Non-Resident Senior Fellow (Strategic Foresight & Anticipation) at the Center for Democracy and Development (CDD), West Africa, and leads Pharos Advisors – a consulting outfit he founded. Pharos Advisors provides strategic foresight, scenario planning, and anticipatory decision-making advisory services to corporate organizations, public institutions, and development organizations working across Africa. Ajilore is also the Founder of the Center for Development Futures – a virtual think-tank exploring development futures in Nigeria.
