In a panel discussion TRENDS and UIBE Stress the Importance of Scientific Research in Understanding Current Affairs

TRENDS Research and Advisory and the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), China, recently held a panel discussion highlighting the role of scientific research in understanding current affairs and shaping the future. The discussion also explored prospects for cooperation between the two sides. The panel was attended by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, heads of TRENDS’ sectors and departments, and representatives from UIBE, including Dr. Wang Qiang, Vice President of UIBE, Huo Yuan, Deputy Director of the Department of International Relations at UIBE, and He Jiajia, Second Secretary at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the UAE. The discussion focused on enhancing cooperation in research and knowledge dissemination, promoting collaboration between universities and the private sector, and encouraging youth engagement in scientific fields. Both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the academic and private sectors to advance scientific research. Dr. Mohammed Al-Ali expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration with UIBE, affirming that it will contribute to achieving shared goals and promoting scientific research and knowledge dissemination. He reiterated TRENDS’ commitment to supporting scientific research, empowering young people, and building bridges of cooperation with international scientific institutions. Dr. Wang Qiang, Vice President of UIBE, expressed his appreciation for TRENDS’ efforts to enhance cooperation with academic institutions. He noted that UIBE believes in the importance of scientific research in achieving sustainable development and stated that collaboration with TRENDS will enable UIBE to reach a broader audience interested in scientific research. At the end of the panel, both parties agreed to maintain communication and enhance cooperation, leading to the signing of a research partnership agreement soon to outline joint projects for the future.
