Research Cooperation Agreements Between TRENDS’ Global Barometer Department and Volunteer Teams “Flat Protection” and “Rabdan”

In a significant step toward enhancing cooperation between research institutions and volunteer teams, TRENDS Research & Advisory, represented by its Global Barometer Department, signed two separate research cooperation agreements with the volunteer teams “Flag Protection” and “Rabdan”.

The agreements aim to engage Emirati volunteer teams in conducting field surveys addressing various key issues under study by TRENDS. They also focus on fostering collaborative research and joint efforts to achieve sustainable community objectives.

 

The agreements were signed on behalf of Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory, by Sultan Al-Ali, Director of the Global Barometer Department. Representing Volunteer Flag Protection Team, the agreement was signed by Mr. Mohsen Ahmad Al-Harthi, Team Leader, and representing Rabdan Volunteer Team, it was signed by Mr. Salem Al-Breiki, Team Leader, in the presence of staff members from both sides.

The agreements provide a formal framework for coordinating efforts between the parties, conducting field surveys on pressing social and economic issues, enhancing research cooperation, and organizing joint activities and events aimed at promoting sustainable development initiatives.

These partnerships reflect a shared vision to foster a culture of giving and teamwork, contributing to scientific research efforts and expanding community impact. They represent another step toward achieving a positive and sustainable impact on UAE society.

Following the signing, Sultan Al-Ali stated: “These agreements underscore TRENDS’ and the Global Barometer Department’s commitment to advancing scientific research and community engagement. By partnering with UAE volunteer teams, we aim to produce authentic research results based on precise field data to benefit decision-makers and the community at large”.

Mr. Mohsen Ahmad Al-Harthi, Leader of Volunteer Flag Protection Team, highlighted that this partnership offers a unique opportunity for volunteer teams to contribute to research objectives that serve the nation and enhance the role of volunteer work in the UAE.

Mr. Salem Al-Breiki, Leader of Rabdan Volunteer Team, expressed his pride in his team’s participation in this collaboration, which bridges volunteerism and scientific research to address vital societal issues in the UAE.
