Coinciding with the International Day of Human Fraternity, H.E. Dr. Khaled Ghanem Al-Ghaith, Secretary-General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity, held a dialogue session with a research delegation from TRENDS Research & Advisory. The discussion focused on exploring avenues for joint cooperation to promote the values of human fraternity, coexistence and tolerance while building bridges of communication between communities, in line with global efforts to foster peaceful coexistence.

At the beginning of the session, Dr. Al-Ghaith welcomed the TRENDS delegation, commending the center’s global research contributions.
Both sides emphasized the importance of embedding these values within research and community initiatives, strengthening academic and intellectual efforts that support the dissemination of principles of tolerance and peaceful coexistence at local and international levels.
Dr. Khaled Ghanem Al-Ghaith stressed that enhancing research and advisory cooperation plays a vital role in supporting and spreading the culture of human fraternity. He highlighted the pivotal role of research institutions in producing in-depth studies that serve common objectives.
The TRENDS delegation, comprising Mr. Awadh Al-Breiki, Head of TRENDS Global Sector, and Ms. Sumaiya Al-Hadrami, Deputy Head of the Sector, underscored the importance of collaboration with various entities to promote moderate humanitarian thinking. They praised the role of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity in widely advancing the principles of dialogue and tolerance.
The delegation discussed with Dr. Al-Ghaith potential areas and opportunities for cooperation, highlighting TRENDS’ intellectual and research activities that reinforce the values of human fraternity, tolerance and coexistence.
