TRENDS Group hosted His Excellency Majid Thalji Al-Qatarneh, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the UAE, in a panel discussion focused on research cooperation and its role in shaping the future.
The session, attended by several of the Group’s officials and researchers, featured an in-depth dialogue on vital issues, most notably the importance of academic research. Participants emphasized that rigorous research is the fundamental pillar of knowledge-based strategic decision-making. The discussion also addressed the role of think tanks in analyzing global shifts and providing proactive insights to tackle future challenges. Furthermore, it highlighted the research efforts of TRENDS Group and the strategic role of its Amman, Jordan, office as a platform for enhancing academic and intellectual exchange between the two nations.
Both sides underscored the deep-rooted relations between the UAE and Jordan, stressing a mutual commitment to strengthening cooperation in studies and research, and the importance of building sustainable partnerships between think tanks in both countries.
